When you think of couponing, chances are you don’t think of Amazon. Many couponers spend their time worrying about grocery stores, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. Believe it or not, the online retail giant is another place where you can coupon. Let’s take a look at five things every couponer should know about Amazon.

Amazon does indeed offer coupons. It might be 15% off a certain brand or $3 off a certain product. There’s always something new. In other words, you can use coupons on Amazon, but it’s coupons that are already on the side. In a way, this makes it so much easier to coupon. However, the terms can be different. For example, you may need to spend so much before a coupon can be used or have a very limited selection.

You can find all the available Amazon coupons here – Amazon Coupons. There are a lot of choose from. You’ll find coupons on everything from breakfast shakes to toilet paper to Bluetooth speakers. There are more than just your typical manufacturer coupons available. Marketplace sellers even make coupons available for some of their products.

In some cases, you clip the coupon to add it to your account. In other cases, you enter a code. There are also coupons that seem to come off automatically. Pay close attention so that you apply the coupon correctly. Also check your total closely before checking out. You want to make sure the coupon was applied. If not, go back and check the coupon.

Some Amazon coupons are good for several weeks. This means that you might order your family’s cereal and then be able to order it again with the same coupon. As mentioned above, you may find that you need to purchase a certain number of items or spend a certain amount. Another problem you may have is that you have items in your cart that are from a marketplace seller and they need to be sold by Amazon in order for that particular coupon to work.

Couponing is no longer limited to your favorite grocery store or pharmacy. You can now get great coupon deals in the comfort of your own home. If you want a great deal, but don’t want to fight the crowds, or limited stock at your local stores, consider couponing on Amazon. It’s easier than you might think, and you can get some really good savings on everything from groceries to electronics.

    I love shopping on Amazon. However, I’ll be honest and admit that I totally forgot about coupons for them. Lately, when I shop with them I’m using a gift card, but thanks for bringing this back to the top of my mind as even when using gift cards it’s important to get the most bang for your buck.
