With spring here and me barely being at home, there are a few things I do to keep my home fresh and welcoming when I do come home. It doesn’t require daily cleaning at all. So I’m giving you a few tips that I do.

1. Keep your windows open on days that allow.
2. Wash your linens on the weekends and keep the windows open to allow your bedding to air out.
3. Sprinkle your floors with baking soda and vacuum on the weekends. Sprinkle the corners with baking soda afterwards.
4. Put up artificial flowers. Yes I said artificial. I’m a plant killer and with limited time on my hands, there is no way I can keep up with real flowers. Get some pretty artificial flowers and throw them in a vase of water. I promise if you invest and search just right, you’ll fool everyone.
5. Get a new bedding set. If your current sets are old and rough or just too bulky for the warmer weather, just get an entire new set just for spring! Changing up the colors and designs of your room can make you feel like you’re on a getaway vacation!
